Like A Covering
Have you ever been at the top of a mountain or
a really big hill and just stopped to take in the view?
Sometimes God reveals himself to us when we take the time
to be still in moments like those. This song is about a
personal experience where God spoke to me through one of
those times when I chose to be still.

On a bright and shiny day
When the big blue sky held
Puffy clouds of gray
I remember stopping to take it in
One breath taking scene

100 Years
My house was built about 100 years ago so I often wonder what life was like for the poeple who used to live here. As you listen, You can imagine what life was like in a lot of different places and how a person from 100 years ago would react to how different things are there these days.

Its amazing to me how free you can be once you truly surrender your life to God. He wants us to be free from everything in this world that could never make us happy. He wants us to see that we can be free all those things in life that He never intended for us. He has a plan for each and everyone of us if we give our lives to Him. Once we are that free we can follow Him wherever He leads.

So many books upon our shelves

We're storing up the wisdom of man
In pages of black and white
That are too gray too understand
What are we putting in?

Why are we filling our heads
with things that could lead to doubt?
What are letting in?
Why aren't we spitting out
This so called wisdom from our mouths?
We're so quick to just believe
It's way too easy to be decieved
Try not to fall into this trap
These lies build caverns so deep
It's hard to climb your way back
